Bowling - Orr Trophy – Saturday 14th June 2008.

Sandy Reddy has asked if anyone mistakenly lifted a white jumper
with the name Sandy embroidered on it following the playing of
the Orr Trophy, could they kindly return it to him at the
Grosvenor Bowling Club.

Lodge Firth of Clyde, Gourock
No. 626 & Lodge Ardgowan No. 1425
Anyone passing the John Street
site will have noticed that the debris from the fire has been
totally cleared and it is hoped that work to rebuild the Temple
will begin within the next five weeks and should be completed
within 14 weeks thereafter. We look forward very much to
being able to return to our Lodge by the end of the year.
However, please note that until further
notice, meetings
of both Lodges will continue to take place in the
premises of the Gourock Youth Athletic Club, George Road, Gourock |

Stamp Appeal.
Brother Bill Crumlish 626 is appealing for used stamps from
envelopes, postcards etc which will be forwarded to Ardgowan
Hospice to raise funds. This appeal will cost you
nothing, just simply tear the stamps off the envelopes and hand
them on to Brother Bill or any member of 626 who will happily
pass them on. |

Inverclyde Motability.
If you're shopping in the Oak Mall, look
out for the motability scooters carrying the signs "Cared for by
the Freemasons of Renfrewshire West - at the heart of the
community since 1728". This follows our sponsorship of the
scooters for a period of 6 months and it is hoped that we might
further extyend the scheme if it proves popular. The
Province has just confirmed its continued support of this
worthwhile project by extending its sponsorship of two motorised
scooters for a further 12 months.
